Heat terracotta stone in a 350 degree oven for 15-30 minutes. Wrap heated tile with cloth. Place mug on towel-covered tile or wrap chips/bread/appetizers in a separate napkin or cloth on top of the tile to stay warm for approximately 45 minutes.
